📋 Description

• Create scalable and user-friendly business cloud applications.

• Engage in the technical design, development, enhancement, testing, debugging, and maintenance of cloud applications.

• Assist in designing business processes within the cloud environment.

• Utilize managed services, cutting-edge databases, and developer tools.

• Transition existing applications to the cloud, adapt applications for cloud deployment, and develop cloud-native applications.

• Develop and sustain applications using various programming languages.

• Integrate data sources while identifying compatibility and security issues.

• Design, configure, and implement cloud-native software solutions to address business challenges.

• Oversee the maintenance of applications and infrastructure for cloud platforms.

• Promote strategies aimed at enhancing the performance of existing cloud technologies.

• Formulate workflows and processes adhering to best practices in cloud architecture.

• Generate instructions and documentation for cloud computing operations.

• Establish development environments and continuous integration pipelines.

• Employ modern application patterns and ensure code efficiency.

• Convert user requirements into technical specifications.

• Offer specialized consulting, analytical, and technical assistance.

• Independently diagnose and resolve issues, including atypical situations.

• Implement BMO’s Risk Management Framework and make informed risk decisions in accordance with policies, laws, and regulations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Typically possess 5–7 years of relevant experience.

• Hold a post-secondary degree in a related field of study or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Demonstrate deep knowledge and technical expertise acquired through extensive education and professional experience.

• Exhibit foundational proficiency in Agile methodology, creative thinking, learning agility, and emotional intelligence.

• Show intermediate proficiency in IT automation, databases, configuration management, elastic computing, SaaS, PaaS, cloud security, customer-centricity, verbal and written communication, collaboration and team skills, analytical and problem-solving abilities, and data-driven decision-making.

• Possess advanced proficiency in cloud computing, cloud solutions, software development, scripting languages, troubleshooting, software development lifecycle, and cloud storage.
