AI & Copilot Solutions Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Validate the business context for the pilot assistant and outline the scope of usable information.

• Identify user intents, anticipated inquiries, response requirements, evaluation standards, and expectations for source citations.

• Design the retrieval and grounding architecture utilizing selected information from SharePoint or verified data in OneLake.

• Set requirements for traceability, visibility into validation status, security measures, classification, and the management of sensitive information.

• Establish human review controls and maintain human accountability for validation and business-related decisions.

• Choose the simplest and most sustainable Microsoft technology pattern.

• Create test sets with known inquiries, approved sources, and expected outcomes.

• Oversee the development, configuration, prompt design, integration, testing, and evaluation processes.

• Evaluate the solution’s utility, compliance with defined parameters, source traceability, and reliability.

• Document failure modes, limitations, escalation procedures, controls, and production recommendations.

• Ensure alignment of the assistant with corporate information, classification, and AI operating models.

• Provide recommendations for architecture, governance, and evolution roadmaps.

• Collaborate effectively with teams in information architecture, SharePoint, Power Platform, Microsoft Fabric, security, business, and adoption.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in designing enterprise AI assistants, retrieval-augmented applications, knowledge solutions, or tailored Copilot experiences.

• In-depth knowledge of grounding, information retrieval, source traceability, response evaluation, and response controls.

• Familiarity with permissions, security measures, information classification, and responsible AI principles.

• Experience working with Microsoft Copilot Studio and related Microsoft 365, Power Platform, Microsoft Fabric, or Azure AI services.

• Capability to define well-scoped use cases, measurable success criteria, and structured evaluation methodologies.

• Experience in defining test sets, evaluation questions, expected outcomes, and conducting failure analysis.

• Knowledge of integration architecture, APIs, enterprise search, and content retrieval processes.

• Proficiency in documenting architecture, risks, limitations, controls, and recommendations for production.

• Excellent communication abilities, with a talent for explaining AI capabilities, limitations, and risks to both technical and business audiences.

• Intermediate to advanced English proficiency (B2 or higher), with the capability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally in corporate and technical settings.

• Availability to work in the Eastern Standard Time (EST) time zone.
