AI Conversation Recording Contributor – Sinhala

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Sri Lanka.

📋 Description

• Collect or record natural, spontaneous speech in alignment with project guidelines.

• Engage in or capture speech from approved real-life contexts, such as workplace interactions or casual one-on-one conversations.

• Execute individual or paired conversational speech tasks, or take part in voice or voice-text interactions with an AI or machine-based system.

• Annotate the gathered speech data according to provided instructions.

• Supply the necessary information and metadata for each recording.

• Contribute spontaneous speech to assess and enhance speech recognition and conversational AI technologies.

• The recordings, annotations, and associated metadata may be reviewed and included in datasets for research, development, testing, and enhancement of AI systems.

⛳️ Requirements

• Native-level fluency in Sinhala (Sri Lanka).

• Genuine pronunciation and a strong familiarity with the target language through daily usage.

• Advanced proficiency in English to comprehend written instructions.

• Contributors should avoid imitating dialects or accents that are not their own.

• Experience in speech recording or data annotation projects is a plus, though not mandatory.

• Strong attention to detail is essential when providing annotations and recording metadata.

• Capability to adhere to detailed project and recording guidelines.

• A quiet room or recording environment with minimal background noise is required.

• A computer microphone or headset with a microphone is needed.

• A reliable internet connection is essential.

• Ability to access and utilize an online recording platform.
