This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut.
• Assess real-world business operations and uncover potential areas for automation.
• Develop and implement agentic AI systems that execute tasks across business applications while ensuring human oversight.
• Collaborate with leadership and staff to grasp operational workflows and create process maps.
• Detect bottlenecks, redundant steps, repetitive tasks, and areas for enhancement.
• Prioritize automation initiatives based on their business impact, complexity, risk, and return on investment (ROI).
• Advise on when AI technology should be employed and when it should not.
• Construct AI agents for various functions including email, CRM, meetings, onboarding, ticketing, documentation, reporting, marketing, lead qualification, proposals, project management, research, and administrative tasks.
• Create human-approval workflows for sensitive or significant actions.
• Seamlessly integrate AI systems with Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, CRM, PSA/RMM, ticketing, marketing, project management, accounting, databases, knowledge bases, APIs, webhooks, and automation platforms.
• Facilitate client AI automation discovery sessions and outline client processes once internal implementations are validated.
• Design, test, launch, document, monitor, and enhance client AI solutions.
• Educate client employees and establish approval and governance frameworks.
• Develop standardized AI implementation packages and ongoing managed AI services.
• Create reusable architectures and templates while showcasing measurable operational improvements.
• Set standards for human approval, security, testing, and documentation.
• Experienced candidate; minimum experience is identified as "Experienced" without a specific duration.
• Business-process orientation combined with practical technical skills.
• Capability to analyze business processes, pinpoint inefficiencies, and convert requirements into AI-driven solutions.
• Familiarity with agentic AI systems and large language models (LLMs).
• Experience with OpenAI/Azure OpenAI, Anthropic Claude, Microsoft Copilot ecosystem, and AI APIs.
• Proficiency in tools such as n8n, Make, Zapier, and/or Microsoft Power Automate.
• Understanding of API integrations, webhooks, Python and/or JavaScript, REST APIs, JSON, and databases.
• Knowledge of retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), vector databases/semantic search, AI tool/function calling, multi-agent workflows, MCP or similar protocols, and prompt/context engineering.
• Familiarity with AI evaluation and testing and business process automation.
• Understanding of or a willingness to gain expertise in role-based access, least-privilege permissions, data privacy, credential/API-key management, AI data governance, logging/audit trails, human approval controls, error handling, rollback procedures, hallucination/reliability risks, pre-production testing, client-environment separation, and post-deployment monitoring.
• Experience with MSPs, IT service providers, marketing agencies, or small-to-medium business technology environments is a significant advantage.
