AI-Assisted Code Analyst, Java, Spring Boot, AI Tools

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Argentina.

📋 Description

• Create and implement technical solutions and software components that satisfy both business and technical requirements.

• Evaluate, refine, and enhance Java and Spring Boot applications to boost code quality, scalability, maintainability, and overall performance.

• Minimize technical debt by applying best coding practices and enhancing quality.

• Utilize AI-driven development tools like GitHub Copilot, Devin, or comparable solutions to expedite code analysis, refactoring, and documentation.

• Work alongside engineering teams to identify performance issues and suggest technical enhancements.

• Assist in both backend and frontend development tasks in accordance with contemporary engineering standards.

• Contribute to Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) workflows.

• Record technical solutions and developments using platforms such as JIRA, Confluence, and ALM.

• Partner with production support teams as necessary to address technical challenges.

• Ensure applications adhere to cybersecurity, quality, and development guidelines.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 3 years of professional experience as a Software Developer or Code Analyst.

• Extensive experience with Java.

• Proficient in Java Database Connectivity.

• Familiarity with J2EE.

• Knowledge of Spring Boot.

• Proficient in JavaScript.

• Experience with Maven.

• Familiarity with Node.js (JADE/Pug).

• Proficient in HTML.

• Experience with Oracle Database.

• Knowledge of REST APIs and Microservices.

• Experience working with Git.

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.

• Understanding of DevOps practices.

• Experience with AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Devin, or similar AI coding assistants.

• Proven track record of enhancing code quality, minimizing technical debt, and boosting development efficiency.

• Strong understanding of application security and code quality tools such as SonarQube and Fortify.

• Experience in Agile software development environments.
