AI Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Portugal.

📋 Description

• Design and implement comprehensive Generative AI solutions, ranging from Proof of Concept (PoC) to full production.

• Create RAG pipelines, agent-based systems, and orchestration layers for large language models (LLMs).

• Assess and choose models, frameworks, and tools based on their performance and cost-effectiveness.

• Develop best practices and governance protocols for responsible AI implementation.

• Guide engineering teams and convert business needs into technical architecture.

• Utilize domain knowledge in intelligent manufacturing and supply chain solutions, focusing on industrial technology and automation within pharmaceutical, logistics, and material processing sectors.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in architecture or AI engineering.

• Demonstrated success in building Generative AI and LLM solutions for production environments.

• High proficiency in Python programming.

• Practical experience with orchestration frameworks such as LangChain and LlamaIndex.

• Familiarity with vector databases and embedding models.

• Experience in deploying models using cloud APIs or self-hosted runtimes.

• Proficient in Portuguese.

• Relevant industry experience in one or more of the following areas: Pharmaceutical technology and solutions, Supply chain automation and logistics, Technology solutions for material processing (including paper, tissue, and tobacco), Intelligent manufacturing, and supply chain solutions.

• Experience with AI gateways and model routing technologies (e.g., LiteLLM, Bearer).

• Knowledge of LLM observability, tracing, and evaluation tools (e.g., LangSmith, Arize Phoenix).

• Background in MLOps, CI/CD for machine learning, and containerized environments.

• Experience with cloud service platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.

• Familiarity with AI agent frameworks like LangGraph, AutoGen, or CrewAI.

• Proficient in English.
