Agile Coach

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Conduct all agile ceremonies with ease and without the need for preparatory guidance.

• Provide coaching to entire organizations and programs, rather than focusing solely on individual teams.

• Create and implement agile transformation programs across multiple teams, ensuring measurable outcomes.

• Offer candid, data-driven insights to engineering leadership regarding delivery health.

• Develop Azure DevOps configurations for multi-team environments, including area paths, team setups, cross-team dependency management, and visibility at the portfolio level.

• Execute organization-wide retrospectives, synchronize sprints across teams, establish area product ownership, and implement self-selection processes.

• Effectively influence vendor teams, internal teams, and organizational frameworks without having formal authority.

• Create and apply metrics frameworks that encompass flow, DORA stability, quality, and backlog health.

• Transform the engineering culture from being output-focused to being outcome-focused and ensure the longevity of this change.

• Facilitate challenging discussions among PMO, engineering, vendors, product teams, and leadership.

• Mentor junior and mid-level Scrum Masters to enhance their skills and capabilities.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient in advanced English.

• Proven experience of over 7 years in agile operations or implementations at scale.

• Knowledge of DORA metrics, including deployment frequency, change failure rate, lead time for changes, and MTTR.

• Experience in challenging and modifying organizational structures that hinder team effectiveness.

• Track record of fostering and maintaining psychological safety in previously defensive or siloed teams.

• Capability to lead executive-level discussions using delivery data and constraint analysis.
