This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

• Take full ownership of client delivery from the initial requirements through to pilot, production, and ongoing iterations.

• Create and maintain version-controlled, tested, and reviewed instruction sets for agents.

• Develop automated evaluation tests that replicate previous conversations to ensure compliance with procedures.

• Troubleshoot live conversations by analyzing system states and specific model instructions.

• Engage directly with US enterprise clients, lead technical discussions, and track business performance metrics.

• Design intent identification layers for voice agents.

• Enhance negotiation flows with safeguards for payment plans.

• Broaden evaluation suites to ensure compliance with legally mandated disclosures.

• Collaborate within small, client-focused teams, partner with colleagues, conduct code reviews, and document work processes.

• 2 to 5 years of experience in building and operating production systems.

• Proven experience being on-call for deployed systems and troubleshooting under pressure.

• Proficient in writing clear Python code and providing thoughtful reviews of others' work.

• Capability to debug by formulating hypotheses and testing them.

• Competence in reading and understanding code written by others.

• Familiarity with asynchronous code and relational databases.

• Comfortable engaging directly with clients and interpreting changes based on ambiguous feedback.

• Strong written communication skills.

• Not explicitly required: previous job title as “AI engineer” or a degree in computer science.

• Preferred: experience with LLM systems in production, evaluation frameworks, agent tooling, RAG pipelines, and structured prompting.

• Preferred: background in conversational AI, whether voice or chat, dialogue design, IVR systems, chatbots, or speech interfaces.

• Preferred: experience in regulated sectors such as finance, healthcare, insurance, or collections.

• Preferred: familiarity with real-time or telephony systems, WebSockets, streaming audio, and platforms like Twilio.
