Agent Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and implement AI agents for various teams across the organization.

• Create reusable skills, tools, and workflows for agents.

• Develop orchestration patterns for multiple agents where applicable.

• Convert functional requirements into robust, production-ready solutions.

• Construct solutions using sanctioned AI platforms and frameworks.

• Configure and manage OpenClaw environments while developing Hermes-based workflows.

• Create and maintain agents within Microsoft Copilot Studio.

• Integrate agents with Salesforce, SharePoint, Microsoft 365, and other approved internal systems.

• Develop automations that eliminate manual tasks in operational processes.

• Establish secure integrations between internal platforms and endorsed AI services.

• Enhance agent reliability, performance, and accuracy.

• Design technical components that are scalable across different departments.

• Test agents against real-world business scenarios and defined acceptance criteria.

• Monitor performance, identify failure points, and implement necessary improvements.

• Ensure solutions adhere to security, governance, and data-access protocols.

• Document architecture, dependencies, functionalities, and support needs.

• Create reusable components and maintain a catalog of agent skills and integrations.

• Contribute to Agent Factory engineering standards and best practices.

• Provide support for orchestration agents and the broader AI framework.

• Occasionally work outside standard hours to assist with events or meet critical deadlines.

• Report directly to the Head of AI Implementation.

⛳️ Requirements

• Hands-on experience in building AI agents, automations, or LLM-enabled applications.

• Strong skills in prompt engineering and agent-instruction design.

• Experience in integrating APIs and business systems.

• Familiarity with large language models, agent frameworks, and tool utilization.

• Programming experience in Python, JavaScript, or a similar language.

• Understanding of both structured and unstructured data sources.

• Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving abilities.

• Capability to rapidly prototype and transform successful prototypes into maintainable solutions.

• Experience with OpenClaw and Hermes.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Copilot Studio and integrations with Microsoft 365.

• Practical experience integrating Salesforce platforms and APIs.

• Familiarity with Model Context Protocol (MCP) and agent tooling.

• Knowledge of retrieval-augmented generation, vector databases, and orchestration patterns.

• Understanding of secure enterprise AI development, access control, and auditability.

• Proficiency with Git, along with automated testing and deployment methodologies.

• Background in the events and/or travel industries.
