This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Support the training of various specialty skilled and/or semi-skilled courses within a designated program.

• Leverage knowledge of adult learning theories and diverse learning styles to enhance learner success and the effectiveness of course instruction.

• Conduct online and/or classroom instruction.

• Deliver field-based skills training.

• Provide technical assistance in a specialized area.

• Employ a range of media to convey course material.

• Assist in the development of new curriculum content or the updating of existing materials as needed to fulfill learner requirements.

• Maintain technical proficiency and skills.

• Report directly to the Training Manager.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution or a combination of education and experience that is equivalent.

• At least three years of experience in the operation, maintenance, design, construction, or regulation of water utility systems.

• A minimum of one year of experience in training adults, which may include on-the-job training.

• Must possess a valid motor vehicle operator’s license or the ability to obtain one within 30 days of employment.

• Texas Class "B" Water license required.

• Texas Class "B" Wastewater license, or Wastewater Collection II or III certification is necessary.

• 60 hours of classroom instructional experience OR completion of approved Instructor training courses.

• Proficiency in Methods of Teaching OR Effective Instructional Techniques.

• Knowledge of Instructional Design and Evaluation OR Organizational and Use of Training Materials.

• Must meet TCEQ Sponsor Requirements, or have the ability to achieve them within 6 months of employment.

• Equivalency: Associate’s degree with five years of experience in the operation, maintenance, design, construction, or regulation of water utility systems OR a High School Diploma/GED with seven years of relevant experience.

• Applicants will undergo a criminal history investigation.

• Employment is contingent upon the verification of credentials and/or other necessary information.
