Aero New Units Project Finance Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Oversee the financial management of Aero New Units projects throughout their entire lifecycle.

• Supervise project financial reporting and closing processes in alignment with US GAAP standards.

• Evaluate contracts, deliverables, terms, cash milestones, payment conditions, foreign exchange, and tax implications.

• Facilitate the handover and allocation of budgets.

• Lead financial project reviews, margin assessments, and initiatives to achieve or surpass the as-sold financial targets.

• Assess execution performance and recommend action plans to enhance contract margins and cash profiles.

• Address complex project execution issues to secure the most favorable financial outcomes for GE.

• Collaborate with Region/HQ FP&A to reflect planning variances in weekly QMIs.

• Verify project accounting entries and ensure precise ledger documentation.

• Work with the tax team on local implications.

• Review and approve project trial balances and supporting documentation for audits.

• Engage in cross-functional projects aimed at LEAN practices and work standardization.

• Partner with FP&A on estimates, plans, forecasts, and reviews.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.

• Prior experience in Project Finance Management within intricate project-based settings.

• Strong background in finance and accounting processes, including financial reporting, forecasting, budgeting, and compliance.

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.

• Familiarity with ERP systems like Oracle or SAP is advantageous.

• Proficient English communication skills.

• Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management abilities.

• Strong oral and written communication skills.

• Capacity to work under tight deadlines and prioritize tasks under pressure.
