Aero New Units Project Finance Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Oversee financial reporting and project closures in compliance with US GAAP standards.

• Direct all financial activities related to projects, encompassing contract analysis, deliverables, terms, cash milestones, payment conditions, foreign exchange, and tax considerations.

• Arrange for budget handover and distribution.

• Perform project and margin reviews to assess financial status and enhance as-sold project financial performance.

• Collaborate with Project Teams to evaluate execution effectiveness and formulate action plans aimed at improving contract margins and cash flow.

• Address intricate project execution challenges to secure optimal financial results for GE.

• Work in conjunction with Region/HQ FP&A to reflect planning discrepancies in weekly QMIs.

• Verify project accounting entries and ensure precise ledger documentation.

• Liaise with the tax team to discuss local implications.

• Review and approve project trial balances, ensuring adequate documentation for both internal and external audits.

• Engage in cross-functional projects that support LEAN initiatives and work standardization.

• Partner with FP&A on estimates, plans, forecasts, and evaluations.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college in finance or accounting, or equivalent experience.

• Previous experience in Project Finance Management.

• Extensive experience in Finance and Accounting; expertise in supply chain finance is a plus and/or equivalent experience.

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with Oracle and/or SAP is advantageous.

• Fluent in English, both spoken and written.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

• Capacity to manage large databases and generate reports from ERP systems.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Ability to perform under tight deadlines and prioritize tasks effectively.

• High degree of organization, attention to detail, and dedication to achieving deliverables.

• Capability to coordinate multiple projects at once.

• Effective at identifying problems and developing solutions.

• Proven analytical and organizational skills.

• Comfortable working with remote stakeholders.
