Aero Cost Analyst – m/f/d

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Examine labor, materials, subcontractor, overhead, and other operational expenses to detect trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for enhancement.

• Create and sustain cost models, dashboards, and savings trackers.

• Assist in the formulation of cost-reduction business cases utilizing data and financial analysis.

• Monitor the performance of initiatives, validate savings, and communicate progress towards targets.

• Collaborate with operational execution, fulfillment, finance, engineering, Product Line, and additional functions to collect data and verify assumptions.

• Conduct in-depth analysis across value streams at the fleet level, including Repairs, Rotables, Engines, and OFS, to pinpoint cost drivers and trends.

• Recognize areas of excessive spending, inefficiency, or leakage.

• Prepare routine management reports and executive summaries.

• Aid in forecasting, budgeting, and scenario analysis for cost reduction initiatives.

• Ensure data integrity and consistency in cost reporting.

• Support benchmarking and comparative analysis across various sites, teams, or service lines.

• Assist the Aero Cost Leader by analyzing expenditures, identifying savings opportunities, tracking cost-reduction initiatives, and delivering financial insights.

• Help guarantee that savings opportunities are visible, measurable, and monitored through realization.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution or equivalent knowledge/experience.

• Proficient in the English language.

• Strong analytical and numerical skills.

• Advanced understanding of cost structures in industrial or service environments.

• Expertise in Excel, Tableau, databases, reporting tools, and ideally ERP/finance systems.

• Capability to translate data into actionable insights.

• Excellent attention to detail.

• Effective communication skills to convey findings clearly to non-financial stakeholders.

• Legally authorized to work in the United States.

• Successful completion of a drug screening, as applicable.
