Aero Cost Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Evaluate labor, materials, subcontractor expenses, overhead, and other operational costs to uncover trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for improvement.

• Develop and maintain cost models, dashboards, and savings trackers.

• Assist in creating cost-out business cases through data and financial analysis.

• Monitor initiative performance, validate savings, and report progress against established targets.

• Collaborate with operations execution, fulfillment, finance, engineering, Product Line, and other departments to collect data and verify assumptions.

• Conduct in-depth analysis across value streams at the fleet level, including Repairs, Rotables, Engines, and OFS.

• Identify areas of overspending, inefficiencies, and leakage.

• Prepare routine management reports and executive summaries.

• Aid in forecasting, budgeting, and scenario analysis for cost reduction initiatives.

• Ensure the quality and consistency of data in cost reporting.

• Assist in benchmarking and comparative analysis across various sites, teams, or service lines.

• Support the Aero Cost Leader by transforming data into actionable insights, ensuring that savings opportunities are visible, measurable, and tracked through realization.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution or equivalent knowledge/experience.

• Strong analytical and numerical skills.

• In-depth understanding of cost structures in industrial or service environments.

• Proficiency in Excel, Tableau, databases, reporting tools, and ideally ERP/finance systems.

• Capability to convert data into actionable insights.

• Excellent attention to detail.

• Strong communication skills to present findings clearly to non-financial stakeholders.

• Fluent in English.

• Legally authorized to work in the United States.

• Successful completion of a drug screening, if applicable.
