This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of the analytical foundation of engagements, which includes data gathering, analysis, and the creation of key deliverables.

• Compile and validate data sets from registries, EMR, benchmarks, operations, and finances.

• Execute quantitative analyses that encompass outcomes, length of stay, variations in adverse events, physician-level differences, documentation gaps, benchmarks, patient migration, leakage, and market positioning.

• Develop analyses for ROI, cost impact, revenue estimation, and opportunities for growth.

• Conduct stakeholder interviews, surveys, and workflow assessments while synthesizing both qualitative and quantitative insights.

• Draft reports on findings, prioritized action plans, scorecards, and roadmaps for implementation or growth.

• Create and manage data request templates, calculation and risk-adjustment logic, benchmark data sets, and performance tracking tools.

• Oversee the daily operations of multiple engagements lasting 16 to 24 weeks.

• Develop and uphold project work plans that include milestones, ownership, dependencies, and status updates.

• Act as the primary daily contact for working-level and mid-management stakeholders.

• Lead client-facing kick-off meetings, working check-ins, and final presentations.

• Facilitate working sessions and stakeholder interviews while ensuring partner-side owners adhere to deadlines.

• Identify delivery risks, scope changes, and stakeholder resistance for the Advisory team.

• Coordinate contributions from internal teams such as Clinical Services, Product, and others.

• Assist in delivering pilot offerings and support Business Development discussions.

• Gather partner feedback and propose modifications to offerings for scalable implementation.

• Document any needs related to technology or data support.

• Transform successful pilot practices into repeatable methodologies, templates, and enablement resources.


⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in healthcare consulting or a related field.

• 2 to 3 years in an operational, quality, or performance improvement role within a healthcare system.

• Deep knowledge of cardiovascular registries, specifically the STS Adult Cardiac Surgery Database and NCDR CathPCI.

• Familiarity with hospital clinical quality programs and registry data or direct experience with clinical quality or registry data.

• Ability to operate in a pre-launch setting where methodologies are developed concurrently with their application.

• Proven track record of owning the analytical core of client engagements, transitioning from incomplete data sets to reliable, quantified outcomes.

• Strong project management capabilities, including work plans, multi-stakeholder interactions, milestone tracking, and motivating others to meet deadlines without formal authority.

• Comfortable serving as the daily partner contact for clinical and operational stakeholders.

• Experience in presenting analyses to or facilitating improvement initiatives with physicians.

• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.

• Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Power BI and Tableau.

• Comfortable using AI tools for analysis, like Claude and Copilot.

• Excellent written communication skills, capable of drafting deliverables that require editing rather than complete rewrites.

• Preferred: knowledge of STS star ratings, CMS Care Compare, and U.S. News methodologies.

• Preferred: formal training in performance improvement methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, or the IHI Model for Improvement.

• Preferred: background in clinical, HIM, or CPHQ.

• Preferred: previous experience in taking a service offering from pilot to scalable delivery.

• Preferred: project management experience or certification such as PMP or CAPM.
