This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of the analytical foundation of engagements, encompassing data gathering, analysis, and the authorship of critical deliverables.

• Compile and verify registries, EMR, market analytics, benchmark, operational, and financial datasets.

• Assess outcomes, length of stay, variations in adverse events, physician-level discrepancies, documentation gaps, benchmarks, patient migration, leakage, and competitive positioning.

• Develop analyses for ROI, cost impact, revenue sizing, and growth opportunities.

• Conduct interviews with stakeholders, surveys, and workflow evaluations while synthesizing qualitative and quantitative insights.

• Produce findings, prioritized action plans, scorecards, and roadmaps for implementation or growth.

• Create and sustain data request templates, calculation and risk-adjustment logic, benchmark datasets, and performance trackers.

• Manage the daily operations of concurrent engagements lasting between 16 to 24 weeks.

• Keep project workplans up to date, including milestones, ownership, dependencies, and current status.

• Act as the main contact for day-to-day partner interactions, leading kickoffs, ongoing check-ins, and final presentations.

• Facilitate working sessions and stakeholder interviews, ensuring partner-side owners meet deadlines.

• Identify delivery risks, scope creep, and stakeholder pushback.

• Coordinate internal contributors from Clinical Services, Product, and additional teams.

• Assist pilot initiatives and Business Development with content for offerings and fit assessments.

• Gather partner feedback and suggest modifications to transition offerings from pilot to large-scale delivery.

• Document needs for technology or data support.

• Transform successful strategies into repeatable methodologies, deliverable templates, workplan models, and enablement materials.


⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years in healthcare consulting or a related discipline.

• 2 to 3+ years in an operational, quality, or performance improvement capacity within a healthcare system.

• In-depth knowledge of cardiovascular registries: STS Adult Cardiac Surgery Database and NCDR CathPCI.

• Familiarity with hospital clinical quality programs and registry data, or direct experience with clinical quality or registry data.

• Capability to operate in a pre-launch setting where methodologies are being developed concurrently with their application.

• Proven ownership of the analytical core of client engagements, transitioning from incomplete datasets to reliable, quantified conclusions.

• Strong project management abilities, including workplans, multi-stakeholder coordination, milestone tracking, and motivating others to meet deadlines without formal authority.

• Comfort in serving as the primary contact for clinical and operational stakeholders on a day-to-day basis.

• Experience in presenting analyses or facilitating improvement initiatives with physicians.

• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.

• Comfortable with data visualization tools such as Power BI and Tableau.

• Familiarity with AI analysis tools like Claude and Copilot.

• Excellent written communication skills, capable of drafting deliverables that require editing rather than complete rewrites.

• Preferred: knowledge of STS star ratings, CMS Care Compare, and U.S. News performance measures and methodologies.

• Preferred: formal training in performance improvement methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, or the IHI Model for Improvement.

• Preferred: background in clinical, HIM, or CPHQ.

• Preferred: previous experience in transitioning a service offering from pilot to consistent delivery.

• Preferred: project management experience or certification such as PMP or CAPM.
