This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Provide programmatic guidance, coordination, and support for the implementation of a portfolio of projects.
• Work in collaboration with finance, legal, risk and compliance, supply chain, HR, and program quality teams to ensure award compliance and effective implementation.
• Assist in the development of agency-wide project and award management strategies, standards, tools, and best practices.
• Aid in communications with donors and stakeholders for assigned projects.
• Offer guidance to regional and country teams regarding daily project and award management processes.
• Enhance staff and partner capabilities through training, mentoring, and knowledge sharing.
• Prepare and compile reports, deliverables, and necessary documentation.
• Contribute to the development of proposals, due diligence, award initiation, and compliance evaluations.
• Support award negotiations by preparing necessary documentation and coordinating with relevant teams.
• Facilitate cross-functional coordination, track actions, address routine issues, and escalate complex problems as needed.
• Encourage the consistent application of project and award management practices throughout the assigned portfolio.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, International Affairs, Development, or a related field.
• At least eight years of relevant international work experience with increasing responsibilities.
• A minimum of two years working and traveling in low-resource environments.
• Demonstrated experience in successfully contributing to proposals for external funding.
• Four years of relevant experience in project management, project support, award management, compliance, or similar domains.
• Working knowledge of institutional funders, funding cycles, compliance requirements, and reporting expectations.
• Understanding of project and award management principles.
• General knowledge of finance, risk/compliance, supply chain, and associated functional areas.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Familiarity with web conferencing tools, information systems, and knowledge-sharing platforms.
• Strong skills in relationship management and coordination.
• Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Service-oriented and proactive approach with the capacity to manage multiple priorities.
• Required language: English.
• Must be willing and able to travel up to 25% of the job time.
• Ability to legally work in the location where the position is based.
• Successful candidates needing residence or frequent travel outside their home country must complete pre-employment medical clearance.
