Advanced Practice Provider

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Prescribe medications to patients to aid in managing dependencies, adapting to life changes, or enhancing psychiatric health.

• Prepare and maintain treatment documentation and reports for Joint Commission accreditation, insurance providers, and Adjuvant Behavioral Health operations.

• Assess clients’ physical or mental health based on the information provided by them.

• Collaborate with team members on clinical evaluations and treatment strategies.

• Refer patients, clients, or their families to ABH IOP, community resources, or specialists as needed.

• Adjust treatment plans or methods according to changes in clients' conditions.

• Complete all administrative paperwork for each client, including intake notes, progress notes, lab orders, and e-prescribing records.

• Coordinate prescriptive clinical services in alignment with Adjuvant’s clinical guidelines.

• Report to the ABH Supervising Psychiatrist.

⛳️ Requirements

• Master’s degree in Nursing (MSN) from an accredited institution.

• ANCC - Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing (PMHNP) certification.

• Possess a valid DEA license.

• Preferred: NP or APRN with PMHNP certification (Psych/Mental Cert).
