Advanced Practice Provider

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Prescribe medications to patients to support dependencies, facilitate life adjustments, or enhance psychiatric well-being.

• Prepare and maintain treatment records and reports for Joint Commission accreditation, insurance providers, and Adjuvant Behavioral Health operations.

• Assess clients’ physical or mental conditions based on gathered client information.

• Collaborate with team members on clinical evaluations and treatment strategies.

• Refer patients, clients, or family members to the ABH Intensive Outpatient Program, community resources, or specialists as needed.

• Adapt treatment activities or methods in response to changes in clients’ conditions.

• Complete all necessary administrative documentation for each client, including intake notes, progress notes, lab orders, and e-prescribing records.

• Report to the ABH Supervising Psychiatrist.

⛳️ Requirements

• Master’s degree in Nursing (MSN) from an accredited institution.

• ANCC - Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing (PMHNP) certification.

• Possession of a valid DEA.

• NP or APRN with PMHNP certification (Psych/Mental Cert) preferred.

• Capability to prescribe medications to patients.

• Proficiency in preparing and maintaining treatment records and reports.

• Competence in evaluating clients’ physical or mental conditions based on client information.

• Ability to collaborate with staff on clinical evaluations and treatment strategies.

• Skill in referring patients, clients, or family members to suitable resources or specialists.

• Capacity to modify treatment activities or methods as clients’ conditions change.

• Ability to complete all necessary administrative documentation for every client.
