Advanced Cyber Security Architect/Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Oversee the design and execution of innovative cybersecurity solutions.

• Strengthen defenses against new and evolving threats.

• Serve as the subject matter expert for technical issues.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and senior leadership to formulate and implement the cybersecurity strategy.

• Remain updated on the latest technologies, cybersecurity trends, and best practices.

• Lead incident response initiatives and perform digital analysis.

• Execute risk assessments and vulnerability evaluations.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 6 years of experience in a cybersecurity leadership role.

• Comprehensive understanding of cybersecurity technologies, frameworks, and best practices.

• Capability to lead both direct and indirect reports through influence.

• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or GIAC are highly preferred.

• Proven leadership skills and experience in managing cybersecurity teams.

• Candidates must qualify as a U.S. person: either a U.S. citizen, U.S. permanent resident, or an individual with protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status.

• A Bachelor’s or Advanced Degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field is appreciated, though not mandatory.
