Advanced Brokerage Operations Professional, Licensed

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Minnesota.

📋 Description

• Respond to incoming calls from members and field representatives

• Handle documentation for new accounts, maintenance requests, transfers, and distributions

• Evaluate and process complex or non-routine new business and service transactions, including items that are “not in good order”

• Make outgoing calls as needed

• Ensure that service-related tasks are executed promptly, accurately, and cost-effectively, while adhering to internal service standards and state and federal regulations

• Assist in the development of policies, procedures, and quality assessments

• Oversee workflow and adapt to provide functional coverage

• Work collaboratively with other service teams and internal business units

• Maintain a comprehensive understanding of brokerage operations products, services, affiliated systems, NFS and Thrivent systems, along with relevant policies and procedures

• Establish and nurture professional relationships with field professionals and the clearing firm

• Analyze, approve, and deliver high-quality, timely service while adhering to service-level timeframes

• Provide precise, accurate, and timely updates regarding operational account status

• Meet or surpass department quality benchmarks

⛳️ Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent

• 1-2 years of relevant experience

• FINRA Series 7 and 63/65, or 66 certification required, or to be obtained within 90 days of hire

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Proficient in MS Excel, MS Word, and relevant financial reporting tools

• Ability to work day and/or evening shifts as per volume forecasts

• Availability to work full-time, Monday through Friday, with a schedule between 7:30 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. Central after training
