Adolescent Primary Clinical Therapist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Conduct initial intake assessments to establish diagnoses and determine program suitability.

• Implement CBT, DBT, and other evidence-based therapeutic approaches.

• Manage patients' initial and ongoing insurance requirements.

• Meet with patients individually to evaluate their progress and assist in treatment planning.

• Coordinate care with each patient's specific providers to maintain continuity of treatment.

• Evaluate patient progress and assess the necessity for a higher level of care or potential discharge.

• Communicate with patients’ family members or support systems when appropriate.

• Document in the electronic medical records system.

• Participate in crisis intervention and management.

• Provide group therapy sessions as necessary.

• Collaborate with Group Therapists, Family Therapists, Prescribers, outpatient teams, and treatment teams.

• Guide patients through their overall treatment journey.

⛳️ Requirements

• Licensed Psychologist or Master’s-level therapist with a clinical license (mandatory).

• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience following the Master’s degree (strongly preferred).

• Knowledge and practical experience with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), along with other evidence-based therapies.

• Experience working with patients in crisis situations.

• Preference for applicants residing in Illinois or Minnesota with an active, full clinical license.

• Availability approximately from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. CT.
