Admissions Representative

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.

📋 Description

• Recruit suitable candidates for admission to the University in line with state and federal accreditation standards, as well as institutional policies and regulations.

• Optimize time and inquiry resources to spark interest in programs.

• Make a significant number of prospective phone contacts to arrange appointments and facilitate interview processes.

• Conduct follow-up actions with unresolved interviewees and applicants for future classes.

• Collaborate interdepartmentally with Student Support Services to assist students and ensure successful enrollment.

• Articulate educational programs, expected outcomes, student services, and financial aspects to students, parents, and educators.

• Manage inquiries to ensure prompt communication and achieve weekly performance targets.

• Generate new inquiries through personally developed referrals.

• Schedule and conduct interviews, pursue qualified candidates for enrollment, and evaluate compatibility with career aspirations.

• Forecast the number of new students for admissions leadership.

• Hold monthly follow-up meetings with applicants to ensure successful enrollment.

• Assist staff and departments with data collection and problem-solving tasks.

• Engage in recruitment and enrollment activities, such as open houses, regional presentations, training sessions, orientation programs, career days, community outreach, and employer partnerships.

• Perform additional duties as assigned.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field, along with one year of successful admissions or sales experience, OR an associate’s degree with three years of successful admissions or sales experience.

• Genuine interest in aiding others in achieving their life goals.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.

• Strong interpersonal skills to engage effectively with both faculty and student populations.

• Excellent organizational and problem-solving capabilities.

• Goal-oriented and highly ethical in approach.

• Proficient in MS Office and field-related hardware and software systems for reporting features.

• Ability to interact effectively as a leader or team member, collaborating with other departments.

• Capacity to listen to customers and positively respond to their needs.

• Flexibility to adapt to changing tasks and multiple priorities.

• Ability to manage numerous tasks while meeting deadlines successfully.
