Admissions Representative

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Provide consultation and guidance to prospective students regarding their objectives, degree planning, payment options, transfer credits, and enrollment choices.

• Create actionable plans to assist prospective students in reaching their specified goals.

• Make determinations about admissions based on the fulfillment of eligibility criteria.

• Conduct follow-ups with prospective students via phone, email, or other electronic communication methods.

• Ensure the protection of student account privacy in accordance with FERPA regulations.

• Assess academic records and documentation for admission into APU/AMU programs.

• Utilize CRM and various Admissions software tools.

• Address routine inquiries and manage escalated issues for prospective students.

• Maintain collaborative relationships with Financial Aid, Fulfillment, Veteran and GI Bill support, Student Services, and Marketing teams.

• Achieve or surpass performance objectives and metrics.

• Adhere to designated work schedules and recruitment initiatives.

• Execute additional tasks and assist with special projects as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• 1-2 years of experience in telemarketing, sales, service, online, or higher education is preferred.

• An Associate's Degree is required.

• Capability to uphold student account privacy in accordance with the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA).

• Proficiency in evaluating academic records and documentation for admission purposes.

• Experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and other Admissions software applications.

• Ability to meet or exceed departmental performance goals and metrics.

• Ability to follow an assigned work schedule.

• Professional appearance is expected.

• Must comply with student recruitment and enrollment campaigns and follow-up strategies.
