This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey, +3 more states.
β’ Act as an admissions specialist, guiding students toward suitable programs that align with their academic pursuits and personal interests.
β’ Handle a high volume of emails, texts, and outbound calls efficiently.
β’ Respond to inquiries, troubleshoot issues, and direct questions to the relevant CIEE team member.
β’ Ensure responses to incoming inquiries are made within 24 hours.
β’ Arrange timely follow-ups with prospective students.
β’ Assess the commitment level of prospective students.
β’ Implement strategies to educate students about CIEE programs during the inquiry and application phases.
β’ Collaborate with partner institutions and strategize with Institutional Relations managers.
β’ Achieve both qualitative and quantitative goals for individual and team performance, including completed applications and conversion rates.
β’ Assist in promoting on-campus student engagement initiatives.
β’ Participate in training sessions regarding product offerings and company updates.
β’ Promote and recommend additional products and services, such as internships.
β’ Record call details and manage customer information in the company CRM system.
β’ A bachelor's degree or its international equivalent is required.
β’ 1β2 years of experience in a sales or customer service-oriented role is mandatory.
β’ Prior study abroad experience is highly preferred.
β’ High emotional intelligence (EQ); must be approachable, friendly, and capable of demonstrating empathy and composure in all interactions.
β’ Exceptional attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills are essential.
β’ Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
β’ A service-oriented approach is crucial.
β’ Strong organizational skills and outstanding time management capabilities are required.
β’ Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
β’ Capable of working both independently and collaboratively within a team.
β’ Proven initiative and receptiveness to feedback and guidance.
β’ Willingness to travel for 5β10 trips annually to partner institutions.
β’ Completion of a background check, reference verification, and education/employment validation is necessary for employment.
