This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia, +4 more states.
β’ Act as an admissions specialist, providing guidance to students regarding suitable programs that align with their academic pursuits and interests.
β’ Handle a high volume of emails, texts, and outbound calls effectively.
β’ Respond to inquiries, resolve issues, and connect individuals with the appropriate CIEE team members.
β’ Ensure timely responses to incoming inquiries within 24 hours.
β’ Arrange timely follow-ups with prospective students.
β’ Assist prospective students throughout their inquiry and application journey.
β’ Collaborate with Institutional Relations managers to support partner institutions and devise student-service strategies.
β’ Achieve personal and team qualitative and quantitative objectives, including the number of completed applications and conversion rates.
β’ Facilitate on-campus student engagement activities as directed by the Manager.
β’ Participate in training sessions regarding product and company updates.
β’ Promote and sell additional products and services, such as internships.
β’ Record call details and update customer information in the company's CRM system.
β’ Travel to partner institutions for study abroad fairs, campus events, student representative support, and meetings with study abroad office staff.
β’ A Bachelor's degree or its international equivalent is required.
β’ 1β2 years of experience in a sales and/or customer-service-focused role is essential.
β’ Prior study abroad experience is highly preferred.
β’ High emotional intelligence (EQ), approachability, friendliness, empathy, and composure in all communications are necessary.
β’ Strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills are required.
β’ Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities are essential.
β’ A service-oriented attitude is a must.
β’ Strong organizational and time-management capabilities are needed.
β’ Ability to multitask effectively is required.
β’ Capability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team is necessary.
β’ Initiative and receptiveness to feedback and guidance are essential.
β’ Willingness to travel 5β10 times a year to partner institutions is required.
