Adjunct Professor – Applied Behavior Analysis

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Lead graduate-level ABA courses that align with program learning objectives, BACB 6th Edition Test Outline Content, and APBA accreditation criteria.

• Revise syllabi, instructional resources, and assessments utilizing adult learning principles and effective online teaching methods.

• Organize and design class curricula.

• Evaluate and assess learners' progress.

• Provide necessary support to students.

• Conduct weekly synchronous office hours and meet with students as needed.

• Collaborate with the ABA Program Director to maintain course quality and identify necessary updates.

• Ensure that course content adheres to the professional and ethical standards of the behavior analytic field.

• Work with university stakeholders to promote candidate success.

• Carry out responsibilities in accordance with organizational policies, relevant regulations, professional standards, and legal requirements.

• Engage in organizational compliance activities and report any compliance concerns as required.

• Uphold the mission, values, and principles of the University.

⛳️ Requirements

• Doctoral or Master’s degree in Psychology, Special Education, ABA, or a related discipline from an accredited institution.

• Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification.

• Relevant experience in teaching graduate courses in applied behavior analysis.

• Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

• Ability to work autonomously and demonstrate self-motivation.

• High degree of accuracy, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.

• Capability to communicate complex requirements clearly and succinctly.

• Adaptability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

• Ability to work effectively within a team and build trusting relationships.

• Culturally aware and capable of effectively communicating and interacting with diverse populations.

• Ability to exercise discretion, tact, and maintain confidentiality.

• Competence in making administrative and procedural decisions and judgments.

• Successful completion of a background check is required.

• Must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
