Adjunct Faculty – History & Government

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.

📋 Description

• Deliver courses in alignment with course objectives, syllabus, and content developed by the department.

• Offer timely and constructive feedback to students.

• Inspire and support students in reaching their course learning objectives.

• Maintain the necessary academic credentials and expertise in the subjects taught.

• Comply with university instructional standards.

• Teach both in-person and online within the Department of History and Government.

• Provide instructional support throughout the academic year.

• This position is contingent upon budget approval and adherence to Cedarville University policies.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 18 credit hours completed in a relevant discipline at the Master’s level.

• A Master’s or Ph.D. in a relevant discipline is preferred.

• Demonstrated expertise (such as relevant experience, research, or publication) in the applicable discipline.

• Proven record of successful teaching experience.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

• Proficiency in online delivery systems, with a preference for the Canvas LMS.

• Must identify as a born-again Christian.

• Must agree to and comply with Cedarville University's Doctrinal Statement, Community Covenant, and General Workplace Standards.

• Subject to verification of credentials and other information as required by law.

• Successful completion of a background check is mandatory.
