This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North America.

📋 Description

• Instruct remotely within the Accounting & Cyber-Accounting program.

• Engage students actively through consistent interaction that inspires success and showcases enthusiasm for learning.

• Facilitate collaboration among students and encourage the application of knowledge through problem- and project-based learning demonstrations.

• Offer comprehensive and constructive feedback regularly, utilizing rubrics effectively to evaluate student submissions.

• Recognize and celebrate student achievements.

• Exhibit up-to-date subject-matter expertise and assist students in connecting concepts throughout their academic journey.

• Provide insights to the program chair regarding potential curricular enhancements.

• Teach courses such as Accounting Information Systems, CyberAccounting: Management and Compliance, Cyber Forensics in Accounting, Information Technology Auditing, and CyberAccounting: Risk Management.

⛳️ Requirements

• A terminal degree (e.g., PhD, JD, DBA) in business or a related discipline from an accredited institution of higher education.

• A minimum of one certification in the cybersecurity field from a recognized professional organization, such as ISACA-issued CISA.

• Professional experience in cybersecurity, auditing, compliance management, accounting, finance, and/or business.

• Prior experience teaching adult learners in an online environment and in higher education is highly preferred.

• CPA, CIA, CFE, or equivalent certification is preferred.

• Degrees obtained internationally may necessitate translation or degree evaluation from a NACES-approved vendor.
