Adjudication Associate – Overnight

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +44 more states.

📋 Description

• Prepare and submit claims for accounts to guarantee prompt reimbursements.

• Liaise with nursing facility personnel, physician offices, and insurance companies to uphold payment commitments for online claim submissions.

• Carry out routine business support activities for the Adjudication Omnicare function under general supervision.

• Cultivate effective relationships with team members to ensure daily communication, address issues, and avert service delays.

• Review and investigate rejected claims, taking necessary actions for resolution.

• Manage the backlog of denied claims to ensure timely resubmission.

• Ensure adherence to government and regulatory standards.

• Follow instructions to implement techniques, processes, and responsibilities.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 1 year of experience in a pharmacy-based environment.

• At least 1 year of experience in customer service.

• Basic proficiency in desktop software applications, especially Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Access.

• Availability to work Monday-Friday from 9:00 PM to 5:30 AM Eastern Standard Time.

• Willing to work weekends once every three weeks.

• Open to working holidays several times each year.

• High school diploma or GED required.

• Pharmacy technician certification is preferred.

• Previous experience in managed care and Medicaid and/or Medicare organizations is preferred.

• Capability to perform multiple tasks efficiently.

• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.

• Capacity to operate autonomously.
