Addiction Counselor – Telehealth

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Oregon.

📋 Description

• Conduct intake assessments to evaluate the readiness of Members and determine the appropriate level of care.

• Facilitate both group and individual counseling sessions utilizing Affect’s evidence-based curriculum.

• Provide crisis support and coordinate necessary referrals when required.

• Maintain prompt and accurate documentation within the electronic medical record (EMR) system.

• Collaborate with clinical supervisors on personalized treatment and discharge planning.

• Ensure adherence to HIPAA regulations and all pertinent state laws.

• Deliver virtual individual and group counseling sessions that promote recovery and wellness.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be a resident of Oregon and provide telehealth services from an Oregon-based location.

• Hold an active and verifiable Oregon counseling license: CADC-I, CADC-II, CADC-III, LCSW, LMFT, or LPC.

• All credentials must be validated through the State Board’s website as part of the application process.

• Mental health license holders are required to complete 120 hours of training before commencing work.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office or Google Suite, EMR systems, and telehealth platforms.

• Demonstrate a passion for assisting individuals in recovery and fostering therapeutic relationships.

• Comfortable working autonomously as well as collaboratively within a fast-paced, mission-driven startup environment.

• Must have a private, HIPAA-compliant workspace and a reliable internet connection.
