
Adaptive Planning Administrator – Technical Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Egypt, +1 more country.
• Take ownership of the configuration and continuous enhancement of Workday Adaptive Planning models.
• Oversee modeled and cube sheets while creating advanced formulas.
• Manage Data Agent processes, integrations, data flows, refresh schedules, and dependencies effectively.
• Maintain data mapping tables, transformations, and reconciliation controls to ensure accuracy.
• Monitor, triage, and address data load exceptions promptly.
• Maintain alternative reporting hierarchies for diverse reporting needs.
• Design, develop, and support dashboards, hubs, and reporting solutions utilizing HTML Reporting and OfficeConnect.
• Administer role-based security, access provisioning, periodic reviews, and ensure governance compliance.
• Collaborate with IT and EDW teams on schema modifications, performance tuning, data lineage, interfaces, dependencies, and SLAs.
• Support forecast, budget, and commitment cycles, including version management, locks, workflow configuration, calendar orchestration, assumptions, and source-data loading.
• Execute financial data tie-outs with the consolidation system and address mapping and timing discrepancies.
• Create and maintain playbooks, SOPs, data dictionaries, and cutover/runbook documentation.
• Lead user enablement via training, office hours, and ongoing support; deliver Tier 2/3 issue resolution.
• Propel platform scalability, performance optimization, and broaden enterprise adoption.
• Facilitate standardized reporting, dashboards, and governed self-service for non-finance personnel.
• Convert planning and reporting requirements into scalable system architectures.
• Assist with audit and compliance obligations, change management, access controls, and documentation readiness.
• Report directly to the Director of FP&A Systems & Business Intelligence.
• Ensure timely completion of close and forecasting cycles, process automation, user satisfaction, and compliance with audit/security standards.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Adaptive Planning Configuration & Administration.
• Proven ability and experience overseeing a production environment.
• Workday Adaptive Planning certifications (Essentials, Integrations, etc.) are preferred.
• Practical experience managing integrations, automation, and reporting processes.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Information Systems is required.
• Strong grasp of general accounting principles, financial consolidation, and planning methodologies.
• Experience with Workday Adaptive Planning Data Agent, including secure connectivity, scheduled integrations, source-to-target mappings, and troubleshooting failed data loads.
• Familiarity with Adaptive integration patterns, such as JDBC connections to EDW/ERP systems, secure file transfers, REST APIs, and automated data pipelines.
• Solid working knowledge of SQL and relational data models.
• Experience in designing and maintaining Adaptive modeled sheets, cube sheets, dimensions, levels, attributes, assumptions, versions, and alternative reporting hierarchies.
• Advanced experience in Adaptive formula development, including lookups, allocations, driver-based calculations, multi-dimensional logic, and scalable model design.
• Ability to establish report governance standards effectively.
• Knowledge of SOX compliance and audit requirements is essential.
• Capability to manage technical projects and coordinate between Finance and IT teams.
