Acumatica Solutions Developer – Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Engage directly with clients following handoff to collect and clarify requirements for Acumatica customizations.

• Convert business requirements into precise, actionable technical designs and specifications.

• Develop customizations, extensions, and integrations.

• Supervise, guide, and assess developers' contributions on customization projects.

• Provide mentorship to developers regarding code quality and client interactions.

• Utilize Claude and GitHub Copilot to draft specifications, generate and evaluate code, and update customizations.

• Collaborate with Solutions Architecture and Consulting teams on significant projects.

• Act as the technical point of contact for discussions on client customizations.

• Take ownership of the technical solution dialogue from requirements gathering to delivery.

• Report directly to the EVP of Technology & Business Innovation.

⛳️ Requirements

• Several years of practical Acumatica development experience, including proficiency in C#, SQL Server, APIs, and third-party integrations.

• Acumatica certification, or a strong background in Acumatica implementation consulting with significant technical expertise.

• Proven experience in gathering and clarifying requirements from business stakeholders.

• A history of advocating for simpler or more effective solutions when faced with client requests.

• Experience in mentoring, directing, or evaluating the work of other developers.

• Authentic proficiency with AI coding and productivity tools.

• Working knowledge of order-to-cash, procure-to-pay, and inventory management processes.

• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

• Nice to have: experience with Dynamics, NetSuite, Sage, or another mid-market ERP platform.

• Nice to have: familiarity with distribution, manufacturing, construction, or field service operations.

• Nice to have: previous experience as an Acumatica end-user transitioned into consulting or development roles.
