This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey.

• Utilize actuarial and predictive modeling techniques to improve pricing and risk models.

• Create trending methodologies and assess emerging risks, such as climate change and liability aggregation.

• Assist in the development and enhancement of actuarial products for Commercial Property, Personal Auto, and Liability lines.

• Foster innovation in rating infrastructure and catastrophe modeling solutions.

• Prepare regulatory filings and conduct loss cost reviews.

• Address regulatory inquiries effectively.

• Provide technical support and deliver presentations to insurers, reinsurers, and brokers.

• Work collaboratively with underwriting, compliance, and product development teams.

• Engage in special projects aimed at enhancing operational efficiency and modernization.

• Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or a related field.

• Progress towards ACAS/FCAS or ASA designation is preferred.

• Entry-Level: Internship or up to 2 years of experience in actuarial or insurance analytics.

• Mid/Senior-Level: 3–7 years of experience in pricing, reserving, or modeling for P&C lines.

• Proficiency in Excel is essential.

• Familiarity with SQL, Python, R, VBA, or data visualization tools is advantageous.

• Experience with predictive analytics and catastrophe modeling is a plus.

• Strong analytical thinking skills are required.

• Effective communication skills are a must.

• Ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences is important.
