Actuarial Support

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Deliver expert insights on the design, compliance, and management of combo plans.

• Address customer inquiries and resolve plan-specific challenges with accuracy and transparency.

• Work alongside software developers to suggest and enhance features that improve plan administration tools.

• Engage in testing and validating new software functionalities, ensuring both actuarial accuracy and user-friendliness.

• Contribute to the development of training materials and client education programs focused on retirement plan features.

• Aid in interpreting regulatory updates and converting them into actionable system enhancements.

• Provide valuable perspectives during product planning meetings to ensure actuarial requirements align with technical capabilities.

⛳️ Requirements

• EA designation is mandatory, with active enrollment status.

• At least 5 years of experience in retirement plan administration, particularly with a focus on combo plans, including DC administration.

• Solid understanding of ERISA, IRS, and DOL regulations relevant to small retirement plans.

• Demonstrated ability to convey complex actuarial concepts to audiences without actuarial backgrounds.

• Experience with retirement plan software solutions and involvement in feature development.

• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with data analysis tools.

• Previous experience in a client-facing support role.

• Capacity to work both independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
