Actuarial Summer Intern

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Tennessee.

📋 Description

• Assist in research initiatives to formulate assumptions and execute experience analyses for health insurance products

• Engage in risk adjustment, pricing, and valuation analyses

• Collaborate directly with staff actuaries and analysts

• Contribute to ensuring the accuracy of health product premiums

• Aid in the validation of reserve estimates

• Support the completeness of financial statements

⛳️ Requirements

• Currently enrolled college student in an accredited institution who has completed at least two years of study

• Recent graduates are welcome to apply

• Students pursuing a master's or doctoral degree at an accredited institution are eligible

• Transcripts must be provided

• Preferred majors include Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Finance, or Statistics

• Preference for candidates residing in the Eastern or Central Time Zone

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

• An interest in emerging technologies, such as AI and automation, and their relevance to actuarial and business challenges

• Ability to prioritize tasks, work independently, and manage time and resources effectively

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Sound decision-making abilities

• Minimum GPA requirement of 2.75
