This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia, +1 more state.
• Deliver federal acquisition support to program and technical offices across the entire acquisition lifecycle.
• Act as a bridge between program staff and acquisition specialists.
• Aid in the creation and evaluation of purchase requests and acquisition packages.
• Formulate acquisition plans, statements of work/objectives, performance work statements, requirements documentation, market research reports, determinations and findings, as well as justifications and approvals.
• Assist with independent government cost estimations, business case analyses, and cost and pricing evaluations.
• Support contracts, task orders, delivery orders, BPAs, purchase orders, and inter/intra-agency agreements.
• Engage in ongoing contract administration, solicitation, awarding, modification, and closure activities.
• Record meetings, decisions, action items, and acquisition requirements.
• Evaluate complex acquisition challenges and facilitate their resolution with government stakeholders.
• Maintain electronic tracking spreadsheets and monitor contract funding levels.
• Assist with market research, source-selection evaluation criteria, acquisition reporting, and other procurement initiatives.
• Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science degree, or a higher academic qualification.
• Minimum of 5 years of pertinent federal acquisition or contracting experience.
• Proven knowledge and practical experience applying the Federal Acquisition Regulation to federal procurement processes.
• Federal acquisition expertise and experience that meet or exceed FAC-C Level II competencies.
• Background in supporting acquisition activities from planning through to award, administration, and closure.
• Experience in preparing and evaluating federal acquisition packages and purchase request documentation.
• Experience in developing or assisting with Statements of Work, Statements of Objectives, Performance Work Statements, acquisition plans, market research documentation, and related procurement materials.
• Familiarity with Firm-Fixed Price, Cost-Reimbursable, Labor Hour, and Time and Materials contracts.
• Experience in supporting IDIQ contracts, BPAs, task orders, delivery orders, call orders, and purchase orders.
• Knowledge of acquisition procedures linked to FAR Parts 12, 13, 15, 37, and 43, along with contract closure requirements.
• Experience in conducting or aiding federal market research.
• Understanding of cost and price analysis principles.
• Ability to independently assess acquisition assignments and provide insightful feedback and recommendations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and Teams.
• Experience with Google Workspace applications including Calendar, Sheets, Chat, Gmail, Docs, Slides, Drive, and Meet.
