Accounts Receivable Associate

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Prepare and issue invoices to sponsors and clients, detailing services, reimbursement of pass-through costs, and grants.

• Assist with the prompt preparation, maintenance, and reconciliation of Billing, Accounts Receivable, and associated reports.

• Reconcile unbilled services, reimbursable expenses, and deferred revenue or advance expenses on the balance sheet.

• Ensure compliance proof for pass-through expenses aligns with internal policies and client requirements.

• Identify gaps in processes and accelerate their resolution by consulting with the supervisor.

• Support annual corporate external audits and the filing of statutory corporate taxes.

• Process vendor invoices and credit notes, including basic coding, fixed assets, prepayments, VAT, and other taxes.

• Reconcile supplier statements and address any discrepancies.

• Resolve vendor inquiries, escalating issues when necessary.

• Provide compliance proof for payable documents in accordance with internal policies and client requirements.

• Prepare, maintain, and reconcile accounts payable aging, as well as unposted and unapproved transactions and related reports.

• Perform additional duties as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• A degree in a numerate discipline is preferred, or a degree (or equivalent) along with at least one year of experience in finance or accounting.

• Advanced knowledge of financial software applications and databases is essential.

• Experience with relevant ERP systems is a plus.

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.

• Competency in all other MS-Office applications.

• Proficient in the English language.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and adhere to deadlines.

• Capability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines with a high level of accuracy.
