This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.
• Execute timely and precise vendor set-ups and updates within Owens & Minor systems.
• Ensure that vendor master data adheres to internal policies, procedures, and external regulatory standards.
• Produce necessary reports for the Accounts Payable Department.
• Address inquiries concerning the status of Accounts Payable items.
• Manage vendor master data requests from business submissions through to confirmation in SAP, Oracle, or Workday.
• Validate vendor master data requests in accordance with business policies and procedures.
• Assist in the investigation and resolution of vendor master data issues.
• Handle complex change requests to avoid disruption of business processes.
• Monitor requests on a daily basis to ensure efficient workflow, updates, and payments.
• Administer and provide support for tools, forms, and workflow systems related to vendor master data requests.
• Aid in the annual reconciliation of 1099 reporting.
• Generate and analyze reports regarding vendor change activities.
• Support Internal Audit by retrieving necessary documentation.
• A High School Diploma is required.
• 3–5 years of experience in accounts payable, vendor master data, or a related field is required.
• Strong familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Workday, or similar platforms.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
• Outstanding organizational and multitasking skills.
• Keen attention to detail and a strong commitment to data accuracy.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of tax regulations such as 1099 and VAT, as well as SOX compliance, is advantageous.
