This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Process and Match Supplier Invoices: Diligently align incoming invoices with purchase orders (PO) and warehouse receival/delivery documentation, ensuring accurate General Ledger (GL) coding and proper cost center allocation.

• Calculate Import and Landed Costs: Precisely compute, allocate, and monitor landed costs, including overseas freight, import duties, and customs clearance across inventory categories.

• Manage AP inbox & Payment Runs: Oversee the central accounts payable inbox, conduct supplier statement reconciliations, and prepare weekly and fortnightly payment schedules for executive assessment.

• Ledger Reconciliations: Execute monthly reconciliations between the AP subledger and GL, addressing unmatched Goods Received Not Invoiced (GRNI) items and ensuring no unexplained variances.

• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with onshore Australian procurement, warehousing, and logistics teams to swiftly rectify purchase order or delivery discrepancies.

• Month-End Support: Keep accurate supplier information and assist with month-end closing reports, including AP accruals.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.

• At least 2 years of practical Accounts Payable / Full-Cycle AP experience with Western businesses (Australia, US, UK, NZ, or Canada), ideally in wholesale, retail, warehousing, or distribution sectors.

• Extensive knowledge of import costing methodologies, landed cost allocations, freight tracking, customs duties, and inventory accounting principles.

• Demonstrated experience with enterprise accounting software/ERP systems such as NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics 365, SAP, or comparable platforms.
