This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Deliver essential accounting support in a dynamic, expanding, multi-entity organization.
• Manage and process a high volume of vendor transactions, including allocations, GL coding, and multi-entity/intercompany entries.
• Prepare and import comprehensive journal entries into the ERP accounting system.
• Oversee accrual reports, amortization schedules, and relevant accounting documentation.
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies in invoices, coding inquiries, allocation issues, and other transactional matters.
• Assist in month-end closing processes, encompassing accruals, reconciliations, journal entries, and associated reporting.
• Support annual financial audits by preparing necessary documentation and addressing audit requests.
• Maintain precise documentation and provide clear explanations along with supporting details for all processed transactions.
• Ensure that all transactions adhere to accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.
• Collaborate with Accounting and cross-functional teams to enhance processes, accuracy, efficiency, and consistency.
• Execute ad hoc accounting, financial, and administrative projects as required.
• Potentially assist in recruiting, mentoring, and developing team members across global teams.
• May contribute to establishing performance metrics and team objectives.
• May offer coaching and support to onshore and offshore teams.
• Minimum of 2 years of accounts payable or related accounting experience.
• Strong grasp of accounting basics, including GL coding, accruals, journal entries, and account reconciliation.
• Preferred experience in a multi-entity accounting environment.
• Familiarity with ERP accounting systems; NetSuite or similar ERP experience is highly preferred.
• Experience with expense reporting and paperless/AP automation platforms.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel, including PivotTables and VLOOKUPs or similar lookup functions.
• Competence in Microsoft Office suite, including Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams.
• Basic knowledge or experience with Salesforce is an advantage.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
• Strong analytical and numerical abilities with exceptional attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with the capability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
