This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.
• Oversee Accounts Receivable, which includes following up with debtors, allocating payments, reconciling accounts, and conducting collections activities.
• Handle Accounts Payable processes, including invoice management, supplier payments, statement reconciliations, and addressing supplier inquiries.
• Perform daily and weekly bank reconciliations for various entities.
• Execute banking transactions, including direct debits, receipts, and other financial operations.
• Import invoice data from ERP systems into Xero and ensure its accuracy.
• Keep precise records of customers, suppliers, and financial transactions across company systems.
• Monitor finance-specific inboxes and address accounts-related inquiries.
• Process applications for trade credit and supplier accounts.
• Assist with financial reporting, month-end procedures, and administrative tasks.
• Contribute to process improvement efforts aimed at increasing efficiency and accuracy.
• Undertake additional role-specific responsibilities as required.
• A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, Business, or a related field is preferred.
• At least 2 to 3 years of experience in positions such as Accounts Officer, Accounts Coordinator, Bookkeeper, or a similar finance support role.
• Proven hands-on experience with both Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions.
• Demonstrated expertise in bank and account reconciliations.
• Strong proficiency in using Xero.
• Familiarity with ERP systems that integrate with Xero.
• Experience in processing invoices, payments, receipts, and other general accounting transactions.
• Confident in following up on overdue accounts and communicating with customers about payment issues.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office 365, especially Excel and Outlook.
• High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and strong organizational abilities.
• Capability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a remote setting.
• Experience supporting various entities within a corporate structure.
• Background in manufacturing, industrial, wholesale, or distribution sectors.
