Accounting Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Argentina.

📋 Description

• Assist hotel clients in Latin America with comprehensive accounting onboarding, which includes mapping the chart of accounts, configuring taxes, setting up revenue recognition, establishing reconciliation workflows, and ensuring compliance with country-specific e-invoicing regulations.

• Transform clients' business operations, such as night audits, folio management, accounts receivable, and month-end closing, into accurately configured Cloudbeds environments.

• Facilitate integrations between Cloudbeds and external accounting platforms and ERPs, including QuickBooks, Xero, M3, NetSuite, and local Latin American accounting systems.

• Resolve accounting discrepancies, integration synchronization issues, and configuration inquiries.

• Act as the internal authority on Latin American hospitality accounting practices and regional fiscal compliance.

• Enhance onboarding documentation and create best-practice resources for hospitality accounting workflows across Latin American markets.

• Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to communicate customer feedback and influence product direction.

• Engage directly with clients and their accounting teams throughout Latin America via phone and video calls.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of practical accounting or bookkeeping experience within the hotel or hospitality sector — mandatory.

• Demonstrated experience in configuring or supporting integrations between hotel PMS and accounting or ERP software (QuickBooks, NetSuite, M3, or equivalent).

• Extensive knowledge of the fiscal and e-invoicing requirements of at least one Latin American country, with a general understanding of the broader region.

• Excellent customer-facing communication abilities; comfortable and confident in direct interactions with hotel clients and their accounting teams via phone and video on a daily basis.

• Proficient in both Spanish and English — essential requirement.

• Ability to navigate SaaS platforms and quickly adapt to new tools with minimal supervision.

• Strong analytical skills with the capability to trace data flows, identify mapping discrepancies, and systematically troubleshoot integration challenges.

• Authorized to work in the location of the position without the need for visa sponsorship.

• Proficiency in Portuguese is a significant advantage.

• Previous hands-on experience in hotel operations such as front office, night audit, or revenue management — an additional asset.

• Familiarity with fiscal compliance requirements across various Latin American countries — an additional asset.

• Active personal engagement with AI tools or workflow automation — an additional asset.
