Accounting Specialist – Accounts Receivable, Payable

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries utilizing QuickBooks Online.

• Supervise the generation of invoices and their transfer from the ERP system to QuickBooks Online, ensuring precision and proper reconciliation.

• Issue invoices to customers and address any billing discrepancies.

• Respond to customer inquiries regarding invoices, account balances, credits, and payment concerns.

• Efficiently manage a high volume of emails and transactions with accuracy and professionalism.

• Conduct basic financial reporting and assist with month-end reconciliation tasks.

• Identify discrepancies, investigate their root causes, and escalate issues as necessary.

⛳️ Requirements

• Previous experience in accounting or bookkeeping.

• Direct experience within the cosmetic, medical, aesthetics, or healthcare sectors (mandatory).

• Practical experience with QuickBooks Online and ERP-integrated accounting workflows.

• Experience in managing invoicing and accounts receivable/accounts payable in regulated, product-focused settings.

• Proficient written and verbal communication skills in English.

• A clear and professional communication style suitable for customer interactions.

• Capability to manage high-volume and detail-oriented tasks while ensuring accuracy.

• Previous experience working remotely.

• Proficiency with remote collaboration tools and platforms such as Slack, Zoom, Google Workspace, Asana, or similar.

• Ideally, experience collaborating with companies based in the US or UK.

• Understanding of inventory-related accounting processes.

• Experience assisting with audits or compliance documentation.
