Accounting Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Lead a team of 3-5 accountants to ensure timely completion of engagements.

• Guarantee the accuracy and quality control of client deliverables.

• Supervise the profitability of client engagements.

• Promote and upsell additional service offerings to the existing client base.

• Train and mentor team members for professional growth.

• Oversee team workflow to meet client deadlines effectively.

• Act as the technical expert on accounting and technology matters.

⛳️ Requirements

• 7-10 years of accounting experience, including a minimum of 3 years at a mid-sized CPA firm.

• 3-5 years in a leadership or people management position.

• Proven experience in preparing and consolidating financial statements and issuing financial reports.

• Excellent communication skills and a strong desire to assist small businesses in achieving success.

• Proficiency in cloud-based platforms such as QuickBooks Online and Xero.

• Familiarity with Shopify, Amazon Seller Central, A2X, Bill.com, and Gusto.

• Capability to establish processes, enhance operational efficiency, and provide strategic insights.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting is required.

• CPA designation is strongly preferred.
