This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee consolidations across multiple entities and currencies, which includes intercompany eliminations, ASC 830 currency translations, governance of the chart of accounts, monthly closing processes, journal entries, and reconciliations for US entities.

• Drive process transformation and automation projects utilizing AI tools and systems aimed at standardizing closing procedures and eliminating reliance on manual spreadsheet workflows.

• Generate audit-ready consolidated and individual entity balance sheets and P&L fluctuation analyses.

• Implement and operationalize technical accounting measures.

• Carry out accounting for stock-based compensation in accordance with ASC 718.

• Supervise and mentor a small team of accounting professionals.

• Collaborate with Legal, FP&A, Procurement/Accounts Payable, People, Compensation and Benefits, Treasury, and various other business partners.

• Implement internal controls while enhancing the efficiency and scalability of process controls.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Business or Accounting, along with progressive experience in corporate accounting and auditing.

• Practical experience in executing consolidations across multiple entities and currencies, along with intercompany eliminations and ASC 830 currency translations.

• Strong technical knowledge of US GAAP, specifically ASC 830, ASC 718, and ASC 842.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and G-Suite applications.

• Direct experience with NetSuite or comparable ERP systems, including configuration of subsidiary structures, multi-currency settings, and saved searches.

• Experience in managing deliverables for external audits.

• A self-driven approach to team leadership complemented by effective communication skills.
