This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland, +1 more country.
• Deliver payroll accounting and funding analytical expertise along with consultation services to Strada clients.
• Reconcile general ledger accounts, payroll activities, bank accounts, and funding transactions.
• Prepare reconciliations for bank accounts and identify necessary adjustments to resolve reconciling items.
• Review errors in the payroll-to-general-ledger interface and determine necessary reclassifications.
• Assist managers in ensuring timely and accurate client engagement while providing implementation and go-live support.
• Offer daily functional support to ensure the successful delivery of general ledger documents and files.
• Conduct financial audits, analyze data, and reconcile payroll results, postings, and GL interface transmittals.
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies, complete root-cause analyses, and recommend interventions to clients.
• Analyze issues related to accounting compliance along with financial and legal risks.
• Facilitate resolutions, which may include system configuration changes, and provide formal recommendations to clients.
• Maintain and enforce Defined Work Instructions and other relevant process documentation.
• Address escalated technical and functional issues, ensuring that system defects are reported and ticketed appropriately.
• Respond accurately and promptly to requests for audits.
• Communicate effectively with payroll teams, clients, and vendors to resolve accounting and treasury-related issues.
• Support initiatives focused on automation, innovation, and continuous improvement.
• Assist management with client escalations and lessons learned from experiences.
• Accurately complete time recording in a timely manner.
• Participate in various projects, team meetings, and other assigned tasks.
• Foster relationships across different lines of business.
• Preferred experience in payroll and financial reporting.
• Required experience in accounting.
• 1 to 3 years of experience using Workday or similar accounting systems.
• Ability to multitask and manage team workload to enhance productivity, efficiency, and effectiveness.
• Focus on SLA attainment, goal setting, task prioritization, and teamwork.
• Capability to make timely and complex recommendations utilizing technology, accounting theory, and methodologies.
• Effective communication skills with internal teams and clients.
• Aptitude for identifying problems, systematically compiling information, and addressing root causes.
• Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and adhere to client-driven schedules.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Office Suite, Excel, Workday, and related systems.
• Competence in identifying and mitigating risks.
• Flexibility to thrive in a global, fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Self-motivated with a willingness to learn.
• Capability to collaborate and work independently while adhering to established processes and procedures.
