Accounting Associate – Temp

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Support the accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.

• Manage the processing of invoices, expense reports, and other accounting transactions.

• Prepare and submit journal entries to assist with monthly closing activities.

• Conduct account reconciliations and investigate any discrepancies.

• Reconcile both bank statements and general ledger accounts.

• Perform account analyses to aid in financial reporting and operational decision-making.

• Assist in the preparation of monthly financial reports and their accompanying schedules.

• Review financial transactions to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies.

• Maintain orderly accounting records and supporting documentation.

• Provide administrative assistance to the accounting and finance team.

• Support special projects and process improvement initiatives as assigned.

• Report directly to the Senior Director of Accounting.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.

• 1–3 years of experience in accounting, bookkeeping, finance, or a related field.

• Proficient understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and reconciliation processes.

• Strong skills in Microsoft Excel and the Microsoft Office Suite.

• Experience with accounting systems; familiarity with NetSuite is an advantage.

• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.

• High attention to detail and the capability to maintain accuracy while managing multiple priorities.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to manage confidential information with professionalism.

• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.

• May require prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and using a computer.
