Accounting and Reporting Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Prepare consolidated financial statements on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis for the global consolidated group.

• Support the financial statement audit by providing technical accounting memos and calculations for complex transactions.

• Assist in enhancing internal controls and accounting processes within a global organization to meet audit requirements.

• Review journal entries and account reconciliations against supporting documentation to ensure accuracy in the financial statements.

• Aid FP&A in the forecasting process and the recognition of revenue and expenses.

• Support daily accounting operations by reviewing journal entries and offering management assistance to staff as needed.

• Oversee third-party valuation experts for ASC 805 valuations related to acquisitions.

• Handle M&A accounting, including net working capital and purchase accounting for both asset and stock purchases.

• Manage equity accounting, covering stock-based compensation, preferred equity, and warrants.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance and a CPA is required.

• 6-8 years of experience in accounting and/or finance.

• A minimum of 3-4 years of experience in “Big 4” public accounting.

• At least 2 years of accounting experience in an enterprise SaaS organization.

• Experience in M&A (both buy-side and sell-side) and technical accounting.

• Familiarity with Workday ERP is preferred.
