Accounting and Bookkeeping Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes, which include managing vendor invoice processing, categorizing expenses, and scheduling payments.

• Ensure the general ledgers are accurate and current, specifically designed for restaurant operations, covering food costs, labor expenses, and overheads.

• Perform reconciliations of bank statements, credit card transactions, and data from the POS system.

• Serve as the primary point of contact for restaurant clients and vendors concerning financial inquiries, billing issues, and account clarifications.

• Foster trust through clear and professional communication with owners and operations managers.

• Prepare and present timely financial reports, including profit and loss statements, cash flow forecasts, and tailored performance snapshots.

• Work collaboratively with both internal and client-side teams to enhance bookkeeping processes and optimize financial workflows.

• Fluency in professional English.

• 2–3+ years of accounting or bookkeeping experience, ideally within the restaurant, hospitality, or multi-location business sectors.

• Proficient in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, and Excel/Google Sheets.

• Exceptional attention to detail and strong analytical skills.

• Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities.

• Capable of managing multiple client accounts while consistently meeting deadlines.
